Systems as
instruments.

Each project is a working system and a point of contact with reality. They are not all the same kind of thing.

One core, many systems

Each project stands
on its own.

The projects do not exist merely to produce datasets for Genesis. Each must remain independently valid as research, engineering, or product work.

Their contribution to Genesis is secondary and conditional:

  1. 01The project must produce evidence grounded in its own domain.
  2. 02Provenance and uncertainty must be preserved.
  3. 03Hypotheses must remain separate from demonstrated results.
  4. 04Project-specific representations must not be imported into Genesis as universal truths.
  5. 05Only tested dynamics, constraints, failures, and reusable structures should be considered for transfer.
  6. 06Genesis must remain capable of rejecting what the rest of the laboratory believes.

The laboratory contributes experience. Genesis must still construct, test, and revise its own operational understanding.
